Heir Hunters appearance

The episode of Heir Hunters I was interviewed for back in December is being broadcast on BBC One this Thursday at 9:15 am. See here to watch it on iPlayer after the episode has been shown.

Short story broadcast on BBC Radio 4

I’m excited to say that a short story I wrote titled The Sandwich is set to be broadcast on BBC Radio 4 as part of the new series of The Time Being. It will air at 15:45 on Friday, January 22, repeated later on BBC Radio 4 Extra. Read more about it, and listen after the broadcast, here.

Filming for a BBC TV show

I was recently invited to be interviewed by the makers of the BBC television show Heir Hunters, for an upcoming episode that talks about the history of the London Underground. It was related to a family in Essex, so I suggested filming at the Epping Ongar Railway, which was more than a little silly, considering how much of a trek it is to get there, and because it also happened to be frickin’ freezing on the day. Nevertheless, the filming went well. Not sure when the episode will air, but presumably sometime in 2016.

Interview on BBC London

Today I got to go to Broadcasting House to appear on the Robert Elms radio show on BBC London 94.9, which was all very exciting. Catch it on iPlayer here. (UPDATE: the episode is no longer available).

Guildhall Library Talk

I recently did a talk at the Guildhall Library, in the City of London, covering many of the sites included in Do Not Alight Here, with a focus on those in and around the Square Mile.
